Who Needs a Heli? Good times at the Evoc Press Camp

“It was as good as heli boarding in Alaska”. This is what Holger Feist, the founder of Evoc, told us after the second day of freeriding in Lenzerheide and Arosa. His statement sums up the trip quite well. The athletes who accompanied us dubbed it #skivacation, and that’s pretty much exactly what it was. Not bad for a few days of “work”.

The invitation boasted of two and a half days of freeriding and good times, and that’s exactly what we got, as well as an opportunity to test Evoc’s new technologies. In particular, their latest airbag system is especially on point. If you’re ever unlucky enough to get caught in an avalanche, you’re going to wish that you’ve got one of those on your back.

Thanks to Baschi Bender who, in addition to his good freeride skills, hooked up some great photos for us. And thanks to Dani for organizing everything perfectly, as well as all of the new friends that we met there.

Check the pictures, as they surely capture the good atmosphere that we had on this trip better than any words that I could write.
